Your magazine cover and contents page has a realistic feel to it. By adding the LSC logo you have given it a personal touch which in my opinion is good. Your magazine cover and contents page is very colourful which makes it eye-catching. Overall, your contents page and cover looks great.
Cover: I like how the masthead is a different colour to the rest of the writing. I also like how the LSC logo is on the page and that the picture of the cover star links to the first cover line.
Contents: It is simple which makes it effective because if it was cramped with writing, people wouldn't want to read it. The only thing I would suggest is that the page numbers should go in a an order because contents pages usually have what's on every page

The layout of text is evenly layed out and it sticks to a colour scheme. The cover page uses an effect called gaussian blur which works effectively for removing attention from unwanted areas. THere is a layer style used that works well with helping the text to stand out and give it a minor 3D effect. All of these things collaboratively give a good layout & an effective cover page & contents page. The only constructive criticism i have is the sizing used on the texts. However on the most part i think that this is well done.
I like the way that you have used an effect on the pictures on both front cover and contents page. it is great with the way you used the 3 colour scheme, white, blue and yellow to blend in with the college logo! it is not complicating which makes it eye catching with the colours.
I like the way you used photoshop to edit the picture to get the blur effect which was very appealing and eye catching. Also, i like the way you kept the colour theme between both contents page and cover page.

There is a clear link between the cover and the contents due to the house style and this makes the magazine seem more inviting for students. I liked the way that you used photoshop to blur out the background of the images that you used. This made it easier for the reader to focus on what is important in the image. You could have used a variety of fonts for different events and pieces of information.

Really liking the magazine cover, it is simple but it still attracts people's attention, also the main colours used for the writing makes the front page look more united with the college and professional.
Same concept goes for the content page, really nice and clear, the colours of text stand out which makes the contents page easier to read.
